PSAT 8/9
PSAT (Preliminary SAT) เป็นการทดสอบทางการศึกษาที่ใช้ในการเตรียมความพร้อมของนักเรียนต่อการสอบ SAT ซึ่งเป็นการทดสอบที่นำมาใช้สำหรับการเข้ามหาวิทยาลัยในสหรัฐอเมริกา. PSAT มีจุดประสงค์หลักคือการช่วยนักเรียนในการวัดระดับความพร้อมทางวิชาการและให้ข้อมูลเพิ่มเติมเกี่ยวกับแผนการเรียน นอกจากนี้ยังมี National Merit Scholarship Program ที่ให้ทุนการศึกษาให้นักเรียนที่ได้คะแนน PSAT ที่สูงมาก
PSAT ทดสอบทักษะในสามสาขาหลัก ได้แก่ คณิตศาสตร์ การอ่านและการเขียน เนื้อหาทดสอบมีความคล้ายคลึงกับ SAT แต่มีระดับความยากน้อยกว่า
